Today’s airguns are pretty amazing compared to just 10 years ago.  The technology has grown exponentially, with many modern airguns rivaling .22 rimfires with power and accuracy.  Because of our relationship with Airguns of Arizona, we have the opportunity to use the latest and greatest airguns available today.  We have been using a few different airguns while putting together the video that goes with this article.  Airgun hunting Jackrabbits is one of my favorite types of hunting.  It is challenging and requires great patience, knowledge of your target and an airgun that has the ability to cleanly kill these larger hares.

Just like a firearm, you must take some time determining which pellet is the most accurate in your airgun, as well as if it is the right type/weight to dispatch what you are hunting.  Because of this, we used various brands and types of pellets during these hunts.  All of the airguns used are accurate.  We proved that out before the hunts by shooting targets at ranges from 50 to 75 yards.  Groups were typically 1/2″ to 3/4″ at the listed ranges.
