There Is No Way You Are Shooting That Many Ground Squirrels In One Day! We get those types of comments frequently. This is a short sample of the number of ground squirrels we shoot while hunting active alfalfa fields in the Western USA. David is shooting and I am running the video on this one. Two minutes and 19 seconds later, we have #5 ground squirrels down. David was using his old Savage .223 bolt-action rifle, brought back to life with the new Magpul Hunter stock for the Savage rifle and the “Dog Gone” ammo from Mead Ammunition.
