Winchester Repeating Arms XPert rimfire rifles are now available in the .17WSM cartridge. When I say available, I mean at the distributors. I have two coming, one 16″ threaded and one 18″ not threaded, in the Strata camo stock. I’ll get to the range as soon as they are in hand!
**Update**: I have received two of the new Winchester XPert rifles in .17WSM. 18″ and 16.5″ barrels. Initial thoughts. They are very compact. Stocks and barrels do not easily flex. Magazines are plastic and pop out with normal effort. Made in Turkey and covered in the protective coating, so they will need a thorough cleaning and check that everything is tightened properly.
