Vista Outdoor announced today that they plan to sell their Savage Arms and Stevens Firearms brands and focus more on other business lines including ammunition and shooting accessories. Although Chief Executive Chris Metz stated, “We’re in no hurry to sell these assets,” most of us know that it could happen sooner, than later.
We will update our readers with any new information that comes to light. In the meantime, we hope the sale of these firearms brands strengthens their future and allows for the future owner to innovate and stay relevant to hunters and shooters everywhere.
