I drew my first antelope tag. Unit 16 in WY. This will be my first out of state hunt in over 15 years. Anyone here ever hunt the area? If I tag out early is there anything else to hunt in the area like p-dog?  Any thing to fish? I took over a week off and I don't plan on going home till the last possible minute.

There is a town just north of Sheridan, but it is on private land. I've long since lost the contact information. The local should know, however.

Congrats on the tag Wino. What rifle are you going to use on the antelope?

I've only hunted the western part of the state, so I'm not much help.  My suggestion is to start mapping things out on public land and maybe make a trip out there to scout.  It really helped us in our western WY hunt.

Wyoming is a hell of a state, so you'll have a blast!
