I'm doing my best trying to call in and shoot a Bobcat. My problem is Fox keep showing up and I dont have enough restraint not shoot them.

I cant let them walk away. I clearly have a problem.

I will upload the Fox video later. It's a pretty good one actually. This fat Fox comes in from behind us and I mean 180 degrees. We just walked right through where this one showed up. Without my spotter I would have never saw it.

Nice fox man!!

I don't know enough about bobcats since we don't have them up here where I am. Will a bobcat walk in if a fox is there? Can you let the fox walk up and then just keep waiting for a bobcat?

Bobcats will come to a call even if Fox are around. The problem is Bobcats usually take much longer to come in. I've had a second Fox show up many times after shooting one, but never a second Bobcat or Coyote after dropping one.

Good kill cap.
I wish I didn't suck so bad at calling. Seeing all the cool pics on this forum makes me wanna dig my gear out and try it again.

Goose egg?? Let me show you my first stand that night, It sucks when you miss...

I always think to myself and this is a topic all by itself. Would I rather call in a critter and miss or get skunked and see nothing? It's a tough one for me to answer.

Video below is from my first stand, the same night I shot the Fox in the picture above. I was waiting for a clean shot through the branches.

Here is the video from the Fox in the picture in my first post above.

Good thing my spotter was on her game that night or I would've never had a shot on this one.
