Antelope Fawn on the Menu

I was watching this small herd of Antelope, as my friend had drawn a tag,  in hope of finding a respectful buck - which I did.

I then noticed this guy also watching me watching them.

Tried to call him in but he had antelope fawn on the menu and started again to stalk them as there were two small fawns on the ground.

Luckily the two sentries spotted him and a fawn from this group was not breakfast

And before anybody ask - no I did not kill him. As you can see the grass is rather high and he just disappeared in it.  If I can find the picture of the buck I later found I'll post it also.

That was one very lucky coyote, Chief!  I have watched deer chase coyotes during several occasions.
