Looks like they are back, including the .357 and .44.

I don't see the 77/22LR or 77/22Magnum. That's too bad. Maybe folks aren't willing to spend the extra money for the better quality for a 22LR and the 22 Magnum probably doesn't sell as well as it did before the 17's showed up. I have a 77/22LR and glad I have it. On the other hand the prices have gone up on the 77 rimfires in recent years and for a bit more you could have an Anschutz. In fact I probably have more tied up in my 77/22 with upgrades than I do in the Anschutz that needs no tweaking out of the box.

edit; also I'll assume CZ has cut into the sales for the 77/22LR. Considering CZ's and 77's are of similar quality and CZ's cost less.

who knows, seems they sent out a notice when they discontinued but when they brought it back they did it under the radar.....and with no explanation.

Maybe all they were doing was changing their manufacturing facilities.  It's interesting that they gave no explanation.

I've owned 10-22's and there's an upgraded one here now that barely gets used. It's a nice rifle, probably hasn't been fired in three or four years. I prefer the 77.

Our article from October 2016:

Ruger Temporarily Discontinuing the 77 Series of Bolt-Action Rifles

I just wish it was all of them coming back right now...
