alley,

That's a nice Tanger you have there.

If I had to pick, this'd be my favorite.

LVSF in .17 Remington, Shilen Trigger, McMillan Compact.  Talley LW's and Bushnell 10X Tactical.

My .243 with a match grade barrel shooting 105 gr. Bergers at 3200 FPS will kill varmints, even if the wind is blowing. Longest, laser verified kill is 675 yds.

You certainly deserve bragging rights for that shot, 1vakid! Well done!

Very nice Dooger.

Anybody using an LVSF chambered in .17 Rem has an elevated level of intelligence.

Mine wears they Great Tan FP assembly also.  Did you have your bolt bushed?

Annual Friends of the NRA state dinner on Jan. 9th. Had a choice from a collection of three hundred rifles, shotguns and handguns. Picked the Sako. It was a new gun that hasn't been made in 30 or so years. Had a high end Leupold 4x12 scope and my eyes spotted it right off. It is a shooter with a light colored stock with some of the nicest checkering I've seen in a long time. Sooner or later I'll figure out how to do pictures and no it's not for sale.

SWEET!  Yep hang on to that. It's irreplaceable. But you HAVE to vigorously hunt with it. It'd be a waste to let it sit in a safe.

Already have 250 rounds through it. It is so nice. I started varmint hunting with an Ithaca LSA 55 in 222. Funny the action was a Sako Vixen. Things do come full circle.

That's freakin' awesome.  Arguably one of the greatest varmint rigs of all time.

I have one in the .222 Remington Magnum but would rather have the Triple-Deuce.
