Full Version: You Are Probably Wondering Why I Opened This Forum
The Varminter Forums > The Varminter Forums > The Airgun Forum
Eric Mayer
After spending the last few months reading the most popular airguns forums, I find most are one of two things:

1) Too technical, not enough hunting info
or
2) Too anti-hunting.

So, even if the folks here who shoot and hunt with airguns are the only ones who use this forum, at least it will be a hunter friendly place where you can post your successes without worry of being bashed. As long as you are legal and follow the rules, you are welcome!!

Enjoy!

WOW Eric!!! This is just too cool. cool.gif What a neat surprise, and thank you. biggrin.gif

Ok you guys. Dig out your airguns, take 'em hunting and tell us your stories. I let mine sit in the closet for over twenty years and I'm really kicking myself now. Varmint hunting with an airgun is just too much fun to miss out on.

It will take you places in the field, that you would probably never think to go with your powder burners. It doesn't take the place of them. It just expands your options.

I'm heading out tomorrow to hunt another little canyon that I've driven by for years with my powder burners. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to hunt with the first adult airgun I bought back in 1975. It's an FWB 124D in .177 cal., and I just got it back from Beeman giving it a much needed tune up. It's really going to be fun. tongue.gif I've gotta go now I think I hear my Mom calling me for dinner. laugh.gif

Wow ohmy.gif

Thats great!!

Looking forward to seeing what todays airguns can do. Found memorys as a 10 year old kid walking the woods with my Crossman pump.

and

They won't even get their hands slapped for hunting by those "anti's" whom don't realize hunters & fisherman have more respect,do more, preserve more, spend more, understand more, work with various departments more, for wildlife, rivers & lakes, the outdoors in general & conservation than the "anti's".

Welcome hunters !!

This is gonna be some fun & interesting reading. I am looking forward to the stories.

AZZA, it may have something to say about it. It better because you folks couldn't keep real guns, you voted for a bunch of morons so you aren't to be trusted with real guns anymore. Just keep playing with your toys and maybe one day you might get the real ones back, I wouldn't bet on it but just maybe.

Merry Christmas, haven't outlawed that yet have you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric, I've had a RWS 350 in the box for years and never opened until today. You got me going and now I have to set it up. Thanks, Jim T.
