Hi Thomas-- I just came from Predatormasters & there was a Johnny Stewart tape player with 6 tapes for $90 in the Clasiffied Forum. Thats a good cheap way to get started.

Head to Radio Shack and tell them the basic idea of what you would like to do. If ya got a good CD player all you would need is an amplifier, speaker and the conections! I know a few guys who have started using the MP3 players and they are down loading the sounds off some calling web sites. Most got their stuff at the R.S.
Good Luck

I made mine for about $40.00. Got radio shack stuff and put it together, very simple. Burned a few cd's with sounds off the net.Works very well.
Contact me and if you are interested and I can get you a parts list with #'s.
