Welcome back Rocky!! I hope to see a bunch of those NM coyotes posing for the camera!!

Richard and I went out this AM and called some dogs in. On the first stand of the day I called a double that Richard put the smack down on with the 22-250 Predator. On the second stand of the day I called in 4 Coyotes. There was a small hail of gun fire that ended up taking down two dogs. We ended up with one each from that deal. We had a dry stand go by and I called on dog on the 4th stand. Richard put the smack down again! Temps and wind came up after that and we gave up on the calling and looked for some mule deer.

Went out today to do some calling and look for some more muledeer area. Only called and shot one today.

Freezing is not coming anytime soon here nor does it stay to long. All but one of the yotes has been shot with 22-250 w/ 55 ballistic tips. First day out I took the 223 and shot one on the stand that 4 came in on. Nothing shot thus far has been worth skinning due to damage but, it ain't worth it for $5 any ways.

Glen that dog wit it's Az shot off by Richard shouldn't have tried to run with a bullet in thru the throat. It died tired and with no az.

20 TAC may need to come out. IT BLOWS BIG HOLES TOO!

Found time to get a stand in today and took a big male down with the 22-250. This one barely had blood on it. It would have been worth skinning if the market was here. shot was close to 300 yds guessing from the hold over. Held right between his ears and put the 55 BT in the front of the chest.

That is a nice looking dog.

Wind was blowing but, couldn't pass up one of the secret spots on the way home today. Got another male on this stand.

Hunting on the way home is a good way to end the day.

Got another one on the way home today. Time change is not going to work out in the evenings though. Might have to get some stands in on the way to work instead of on the way home.

I made some real goooood ones today Glen. Made a stand on the way to work this am. Called a triple and got a double out of it. Shot both of them in the face. The third one wasn't hanging around to be feed some lead. Also made time to get a stand in on the way home from work today. Called and killed a single on that one. Two stands four dogs and three dead (good) ones out of it.

Don't worry about picture size...I finally got a high-speed USB Modem (wireless) and "Life on the Net" is great. Still need to figure out a way to get back down there to see you guys....and shoot a coyote in the face with the Lott

Went out yesterday and managed to call one up to pose for the camera. She sprang a leak on both ends.

After seeing all those great death pictures, I may be kicking myself for buying all that camo stuff. You guys go out in Levis and don't seem to be concerned about Ghillie suits, etc., yet you still have no problems getting kills. Maybe the dogs in your areas have become too aware of the shooters in Camo. No problem, I have saved all my old Levis and will wear them next time with NO camo.

I have called them while sitting in the truck before. Not a common practice but, has been done. They get to pose for the camera before camo is usually a big issue. They usually smell you before they see you. When they see you first you just go for the Texas heart shot then. Although, We will get in full get up when there is a contest to be in.

We also do not usually call in thick cover and closed in areas either. You get to see them coming before they see you. Be still and shoot straight is the main thing after that!
