Notice the different species of squirrels! The reddish one is what we call a red fox squirrel and the gray one is what we see in the forests. Is that just called a gray squirrel? Do you find them in the same area. I did not know did not know they lived in the same areas.

Sweet gun. what is it?

Yep, 2 Fox Squirrels and 1 Grey. They are found in the same trees, eat the same things, but entirely different species. The little one is a young Fox. I thought it was a Grey when I took the shot because of it's small size. There was another, but after realizing it too was a youngster, I passed on the shot. Was too slow to get the drop on a couple other grey's. The grey's are a challenge with a rifle. They're quick and don't sit still for long.

It's a Ruger 77/22 with a Clark Stainless mid-weight barrel. Mr. Birdsong's "Black T" finish was applied. Trigger work, action bedded, floated barrel.
