Finally got out on some PDs this weekend, it's been a while.

Private land out near Sterling Colorado.

I don't have any pictures from the first day (Friday), I was too busy shooting.

Took my boys out the second day. Since they need a little help and take my bench and one of my rifles it gave me a chance to snap some pictures.

Ryan my youngest son (8) got his first kills this trip. He got around 15 total with his furthest at 115 yards. All with a Marlin 917V that I cut down so he could shoulder it better. Obviously he still has a little issue with the weight of the gun but he gets by.


Kevin my oldest son (11) is quickly turning into a fine shooter. He routinely takes them out to 175 yards with little problem. Also shooting a Marlin 917V.



Here is a picture I tried to take through the Simmons 44 Mag scope.



This one didn't last long.


My best shot of the trip was 345 yards with my CZ527 in 204 Ruger, love that rifle.

On to the carnage.

very good to see those young guys out there!!! better than any video game!

They have both been shooting since they were 6 and received their first rifles at 7. They like video games but would much rather be in the outdoors with me. We all had an absolute great time.

Sounds like you guys had a blast out there on the open prairie. It's good to see the young fellas involved
