Wouldn't touch her (?) with a vaccinated crowbar dazedcamo.gif

That sodomiter believes, and has stated, that LAWS are made in Appeals Court, is enough for anyone with more than two functioning brain cells to reject her as a Supreme Court Justice......or dog-catcher nerdcamo.gif

WASHINGTON -- The White House says Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor has broken her ankle after an airport stumble in New York City.

Sotomayor fractured her right ankle Monday morning at New York's LaGuardia Airport before boarding a shuttle to Washington for an afternoon of meetings with senators.

She'll keep her six appointments on Capitol Hill Monday despite the injury, which has her walking with crutches, the White House said.

The judge has kept up a busy schedule in Washington as the White House presses for her quick confirmation. She even stopped at the White House before heading to the hospital for an x-ray.

Just more bad juju form the Big O. I'm sure there are far better candidates out there, not that he'll ever pick one. Sad thing is we'll be stuck with her sorry butt for life. There's another bone to pick with the system. Why should non elected judges have lifetime seats? That sounds like a pretty good gig to me. I doubt she's even a gun owner much less a varmint hunter.

Cripes! I live in a state where one of my Senators was appointed by the soon to be convicted felon Rod Blagojevich. Why? Because he has better judgement than the rest of us?????

I believe the thinking is, that if Judges were elected for a term they'd be as crooked as the politicians. Pandering to special interest groups who contribute to their multi-million dollar campaigns with regard for the Constitution and the law taking a backseat. I'm sure that's true. However, I'd bet there are plenty of back door deals going on with this system too and I agree that a lifetime appointment is excessive. Make it an 8-10 year appointment and call it a day. It's one of the most important, if not THE MOST important decision a President makes. Obama may get to appoint yet another judge during his communist reign of terror.
