He looks good in the first picture, but like I said all I had was his head to aim for so here is the other "profile" LOL<LOL My first entry for "RUINIT 09"

The second chuck has a #2 on the paper. I was pacing it off and thought I screwed up my count. So after pictures I had to pace back to check and see if I had it right. 180 yards was counted twice. I first spotted him with only his head sticking out of the hole. The distance could have been closed up some, but I need the long range practice and stopped when I first saw the little softball sized head above the grass. I delayed long enough trying to get a good setup that he sunk down in his hole out of sight. I sat up and relaxed a little figuring he would pop up again. After about 3 minutes he pops up. This time showing his head and about half of his back as he was looking away from me. I get into position and slowly squeeze the trigger. At the crack he jumps out of his hole about a foot to the left and looks around not knowing what just happened. A clean miss. I hurry up and reload [color:#CC0000](note to self, take an extra round out of the ammo box when used as a riser under the sandbag)[/color] get steady and let the next bullet fly. As I get the scope back on the area I see the chucks tail and back leg moving rapidly, then slow to a stop as he slumps into his hole.
The third chuck was spotted as I was glassing a close hedgerow from a round haybale that was still in the corner of a long field. I had checked the entire field and most spots I remember from two year ago. As I glass down the tree line right back to the corner across from me I was taken by suprized a little to see a charlie thru a few berry vines so close. I slid the Striker across the round haybale and quickly acquired the target. It was a good sized one standing on the dirt mound of it's hole looking right at me. I lined up on the ribs and squeezed the trigger. I had the third kill of the day at 70 yards.
