This is the 3rd time I've mowed this year & it was a beeeeeuuuuteeeefuuuullllll day for it too!! 89.8* & not a cloud in the sky!!

90% chance of t-storms tomorrow now. Let it rain. My yard is mowed. biggrincamo.gif

Has springtime hit anybody else yet?? cool.gif
Jerry
Yep it hit here too...FINALLY! I was going to hop on the tractor and do about 6 hours today and 6 tomorrow cuttin, but the rain changed the plans lol. Now its going to be really tall by the time it dries out! We were at 82.6F when I was at the Field Target match by Springfield Saturday so its finally t-shirt weather!

I never quit mowing down here Glen. When the centipede goes dormant, Diane makes me sow winter rye to make sure I have something to do all winter screamcamo.gif We normally get about two days of Spring here in the Sandhills and then the heat is turned up full summer blast. I miss the good old four seasons of Ohio, even the snow...did I really just say that laugh.gif

I did my first cut last week. Not that the lawn didn't need cutting earlier, but I started getting embarrassed whenever I heard someone's mower running. sad.gif

We've been getting a lot of rain around here, and needing it. Last summer was really dry and winter was dry, too, even if it was colder than usual.

My idea of Lawn-Mowing is 2 gallons of Round-up and 4 gallons of green paint.........applied as needed biggrincamo.gif

I have stopped putting fertilizer on my lawn to cut down on the time I must spend in the lawn. That means more time for shooting!

My lawn mower is automatic. When I get home from work, the grass has already been cut, and I get to claim my lawn mower as a dependant at tax time. It's a pretty sweet deal really cool.gif

The grass has started to green up here in Minnesota. It hasn't grown much yet. Probably because yesterday morning it was 32 degrees when I got up. I rode the motorcycle to work anyway. It was a little cold on the face, but once it was completely numb, it was just fine! cool.gif Anybody know what the wind-chill is for 32 degrees at 80 miles an hour??? screamcamo.gif

Yeah. Mostly it's the old guy with the riding mower; he's on that thing all the time. I just couldn't take it anymore. tongue.gif

My Wife's neighbors mow every Saturday no matter how high the grass is. The fertilize twice a year. They run those Cub Cadets as fast as they will go because they hate to mow. So I always wait 2 days to mow my yard after them. Once their combed over yard stands back up two days later you can see where I mowed nice & neat & their yard looks like crap again!! I call it their grass curb!! anim_rofl2.gif

Cold with rain here. Can't even get my bee's to fly. All that stuff about mowing the lawn. You can have it. I'd rather be catching carp with a fly rod.
