Is it just me or is this web site reaaaaaaaaaaaalllllly slow and locking up lately?

H'mm still pretty slow response times. Eight out of the ten
voices in my head say that the worm in my computer has a virus....
But the other two tell me we can get to other sites okay.

I'm using XP Professional with service pack 3 and I haven't seen any difference in performance lately. I'm on a modem connection and I use the Firefox browser.

Try Microsoft's Widows Update site. Get all the latest security patches and the malware removal tool should run if you haven't been there for a while.

Occasionally I've noticed a slow response, or it's even slow enough that I'm too impatient to wait and move on to something else. When I come back it's usually working OK.

It seems to work just fine from my home PC. I am using XP Pro with service pack 3. At work, where it's slow and locking up, I also have XP Pro, but I don't know which service pack they are up to at this time. I suspect our over-zealous IT dept.'s firewall is the culprit. God forbid someone should land on a website with the mention of a gun on it.
