I bought some of this ammo at WalMart to try in my S&W Model 17 and though it shot OK at 50M, it leaded my cylinder face and forcing cone like crazy. This is a 36 grain HP at an advertised 1280fps. I hesitate to shoot it from a rifle as the last Winchester Bulk I bought (X-Pert, about 5 years back) had such inferior lube it about soldered my Brno shut after 10 rounds. I may try it in rifles but until them, be wary Amigos.~AMMOe

I just ran some through my marlin 60 and henry h001T they were quite accurate and I had no problems. I will keep a watch. Do not worry we probably wont have ammo to shoot soon anyway if they tax ammo like tobacco after march. 50 yrds 10 shots model 60

No not a player I just think its one of the best sports to watch. I get very little sleep around playoff time. The lockout kind of hurt my enthusiasm for the sport, when the game game back it was not covered on espn at all the first year. Then along came VS and they cover quit abit. I used to not get enough playoff coverage. When and who did you play for? You can PM me if you want some privacy or not tell at all no biggy. We do have a player here somewhere who might chime in. oh yea lets go AVS!!!!!!!!!
WHere in the hell is all the ammo at walmart?

I played amateur league hockey. Had my best GAA when I was 35! (2.00) I love the sport. Still have my gear hanging in my garage and every once in a while I hobble out to look at it.(sigh!) I think Plain Old Bill played defense at one time.

LOL. Don't hit me with that cane!!
None of us are getting any younger. If you were still playing at 35, my hat's off to you.

I'd tip my cane to you but then I'd fall over.

The Winchester "X-Pert" leaded my Single Six really bad. I came home and had to scrape the lead off the forcing cone and top strap so the cylinder would turn.
