I found a kimber pro varmint chambered for 204 for 950. It has less than a hundred rounds through it and it will shoot under a quarter inch at 100. Is this a good deal?

That would depend on the scope. The rifle new would be about $550.

That seems like a lot of money for a used rifle.

What do they cost new?

I'm not positive but think the ruger has a 4-12x40 redfield

There is also a store that sells cooper rifles where I live and they have a nice 204 for 1500. I have been eyeing that to.

What model is the Cooper? Does it have fancy wood?
If the rifle is a standard Classic or Varminter then the price looks too high. If it is one of the higher-grade models, such as a Custom or Western Classic, or a Montana Varminter or Varmint Extreme, then you might have a deal.
Whittaker's has a bunch of new and used Coopers that you can use as a reference:

I decided to get the kimber. I really like it. Hope to shoot some prairie dogs with it this summer!

Yea it is a beautiful well made rifle. I looked on the internet for that camo stocked Cooper but had zero luck. Has anyone ever seen one? I want one for prairie dog hunting.

I've never seen a Cooper with a camo stock. Maybe someone painted one of their wood or synthetic stocks, or had it dipped.
