A friend of mine from back home in West Texas shot this 1/2 grown lion the other day. He was checking watering on his ranch and drove up on him. He said it was about a 70 yard head shot with a 25-06. He said he weighed 50 to 60 pounds.
This one won't be eating any more sheep or mule deer....

that'd be a cool taxidermy project. it'd be half price of a normal cat mount too! lol awesome pic

I would also go the taxidermy route. A real trophy in the hands of the right taxidermist.

Just wish I was the one to shoot him in the head........then I could add him with my other lions......oh well, maybe next time..
