I was wondering if any of you gentlemen could point me toward a place that have free ranging hogs to hunt, preferably on the east half of the country. I went to a preserve one time, was kind of disappointed. I am out of wild pork for the freezer, in bad need of a refill. Thanks

Eastern Tennessee would be my choice coming from Ohio. Shoot a PM to Juliang here. He's a right cool fella & might even meet up & help you find em.

i think this would be a good idea for any sportsmen who live around feral hogs. in these hard economic it'd be a excellent (cheap) alternative to butcher shop pork. all ya need is a weapon of choice and a good butcher knife

... let us know how you do!

In East TN, you can try Big South Fork National Park. They are open for hog hunting until the end of the month. You will need a TN big game license and a $5 permit. They have great camping facilites as well.

If your retired military, you can hunt hogs on the Ft Benning military reservation on the Alabama Georgia line, Columbus Ga. They are over run with em.
