Last night 1/23/09 at 8:50pm went outside to try a little predator calllin. Sat beside a large norway spruce in my yard right beside my house along with the spotlight and 22-250 and the 12 guage, started callin using the Lohman rabbit in distress predator call. Called for about 1min then shine the S.L around the yard see nothing, continue my calling sequence shine the light to my left and out at about 100 yds see these orange eyes staring right at me. What an adrenaline rush. I hold the light so my bro. can get the gun situated and call at him(the fox) to get the fox to stop he does, then Ka-boom hes down for keeps. The 22-250 50gr. Remington hollowpoint really did the job on him, however if you are going to save the pelts it is alittle to much gun. This male deserved what he was askin, he killed a total of between 10-15 of my chickens so we finally got and no more chickens for him just lead smile.gif. My pictures will not post on here for some reason, it says I need to downsize and I dont know how to do that, does any one here know how?

If you have Microsoft Picture Manager on your PC you can resize the photos with that program. Or you could get a free Photobucket account.

I used the Lohman rabbit in distress call, he came right in to it within 10minutes. He was about 100yds out. He would have come closer but since this was my first varmint called in, I didnt want to take that chance on bringing him in any closer and lose him, so he was put down right where we saw him.
