Actually the scope is not that new, it was a freebee from my father-in-law. I have been waiting the last 3 months for a mount for the rifle so I could put the scope on it. The rifle it’s self is a tack driver and I intend to use it probably for long shots on animals and for some of the longer range comps at my local rod & gun club

Just because there will be a lot of asking if I don’t, even though I like the guessing that comes with anonymity. The rifle is a Springfield M1A National Match and the scope is a Springfield 8-20 x 56mm government model mil-dot with illuminated ret.

I’m thinking a pair of flip up covers would be a grate way to finish off the piece. But I’m ecstatic about how it feels in my hands and at my shoulder as it is. But I just thought “darn, I haft to share this, it just looks too good not to”. biggrincamo.gif

"Where you going with that? Korea?" was what I heard when I first picked up a m1a in my hands some years ago. "Where ever I feel like going," I answered. Everyone laughed.

Always been a fan.
