This was mounted and sighted in on my .243 BLR. Fired around 40 shots and never got a chance to hunt with it. It has what Leopold offers as the "Duplex Range Estimating feature", where you turn the zoom till the horizontal hair is flat on the animals back and the thick part of the bottom post touches it's belly then can aim dead on for that longe range shot; I believe this is for big game and for a 32" measure (back of animal to belly). The BDC ring can be changed for differant calibers and is currently for the .308 (I believe). It's great for fast, handy range estimation in the real-world field. A run of the serial # with Leupold would be able to give all the details. I really wish I had a chance to have used it on a hunt . . .

This scope is in EXCELLENT condition and there is but the most faintest hint of lines from the front ring (VERY faint color marks--would not be noticed). No ring marks from the rear ring. It has clear flip-up covers installed. Original box included!
Leopold has probably the best lifetime warrenty in the business. The tend to fix, even questionable dammage, with "no questions asked," in the event you damage this scope in the future.
This Minnesota farm boy is selling it to fund my last year in grad school (foreign affairs).
