I bought this revolver in late fall of 1994. I sighted in the gun and put it away in the safe. Occasionally, I took it out put a few rounds through it and then back in the safe it went. This gun has NEVER been hunted with; killed nothing but some paint cans and a few cinder blocks. This gun has never even been in a holster!
Many people claim 98% condition which seems to mean different things to different people so I'm just going to note the wear marks and you can be the judge yourself. The gun has VERY slight wear of blueing on the right front edge of the barrel from sitting on the carpet shelf of the safe. The cylinder has lines but there is NO wearing on the front edge of the cylinder (never seen a holster). The very edges of the rear sight has lost some blueing as has the very front edge of the ejector rod housing. These pieces are aluminum and not really blued - doesn't seem to hold up as well as regular blued steel. There is also some light markings on the ejector rod housing from removal of the cylinder pin.
There are NO other marks on this gun. the front sight blade is PERFECT as is the rear blade.
This gun has had 60, 44spcl rounds (Winchester factory) and 20 Magnum rounds (Winchester Super-X) through it and THAT IS IT!
Includes original box and manual.
This Minnesota farm boy is selling it to fund my last year in grad school (foreign affairs). This gun will be worth quite a bit some day!! haha
The price is firm at $425 shipped to your FFL.
