I recently was shocked to see that my extractor had broke on my 591M. The end fell off!!! I decided to look and see if a replacement could be found. Much to my relief Numrich actually has them in stock!!! I ordered two immediately. The two I got are similar but different from my original. My original is folded over on the end and a fairly flat with a slight u shape grabs the rim. The new extractor has a u shape at the end that creates two hooks to grab the rim. The original looks like a long flat piece of metal running the length of the ejection port. The new one will have a round look for the last half inch. I have never seen this before, and I have looked at a few Remington 5mm Magnums over the years. I hope that it is an improvement. As soon as I get it in, I'll find out. Anyone else with one of these have this style extractor??? Just curious if it is Remington's or Numrich came up with this new and different design...

It's Remington. They had two different styles.~AMMOe
