I got a really nice cottontail call from this guy: http://www.sawtoothgamecalls.com/

Its exotic wood and not just drilled out but turned on the lathe to a horn shape so its really loud. I've had two coyotes come in running hard for it. Highly recommended. About $18 delivered.

I looked. Beautiful calls. Don't forget Braz, he's got incredibly beautiful calls that sound great. This guy looks like he's got great stuff too. Thanks for the heads up.

Tell ya what, I have two calls made by forum member Shooter on here, aluminum, and they are beautiful calls! Thanks again! I dont have a picture handy but I'll post one of his fine work.

I don't know about using those aluminum calls during the Minnesota winters. Wouldn't that be like sticking your tongue on the flagpole?? deadcamo.gif

I have purchased some nice custom calls and they sound good! My favorite however is that cow horn I put together myself...kinda confusedcamo.gif I bought an open reed Lohman call from the gun shop and cemented it into the cow horn that I cut and ground out to size. Coated it with some poly and it sounds good. I figure it's not a bad idea to have a couple in reserve on my lanyard to put out a somewhat different tone of dinner bell for variety laugh.gif

Lol yea that makes sense! There is a clear hard plastic(?) lexan(?) material on the mouthpiece that prevents that from happening! Yea that wouldnt be too fun!

Trying to check out the link, seems to be a dead end.
