I sold my last air rifle about 6 months ago with no intention of getting another one but the other week I really started to get the itch again so bought a nice HW97K in .22. Impressions so far are very good, more than accurate enough and very nice to shoot offhand, the only problem is the trigger has alot of creep which makes it very hard to shoot good groups but it can still be done. I will have to get it out of the stock and get the creep adjusted out. I mounted up a cheap 4-12x40 mildot scope, I love a mildot for airguns its the only way to shoot them, I put it in a set of b-square medium mounts which I lapped as well. First job for it was a few pests around the home farm sheds which had been causing trouble then over to the woods were I was sure of a shot at some magpies and woodpigeons. Bagged 2 magpies and 1 woodpigeon I couldnt retrive one of the magpies as he got stuck in the tree on the way down hence why there is only one in the pic, its great to be back and my head is already spinning with ideas of were I can go hunting with this rifle and ways to get close enough to get the kill.
