Coyote calling has been slow. So we dumped a some crows this past weekend. Here are a few.

Dean's CZ 720 was acting up. Misfires, shells not ejecting, etc. He was getting very frustrated with the thing. I can't blame him. We swapped guns and I was ready to throw it in a road ditch too. So, Sunday on the way home, we stopped by a shop and he's a little lighter in the wallet but now is very happy with a new Remington Sparten SxS 20 gauge. His choice, not mine. I was trying to steer him toward the 11-87, 870, Mossberg, Charles Daly, or even an over&under....he wouldn't hear about it laugh.gif

I'm sure CZ would have made it right but who wants to wait? The crows are ready to be shot NOW!

I've been wanting a side-by-side double since I saw a double-barreled pop gun at a toy store when I was a kid. I was talking to my mom a few years ago and she still remembered me pitching a fit over that toy gun all those years ago.

I hope Red Jr. likes his. I'm still waiting for mine. smile.gif

I have an old model 12 Winchester 20GA that belonged to my dad. Lord only knows how many crow have succumbed to that old pump. Add to that the countless dove, quail, rabbit and squirrel and you have a well used and proven shotgun. Don't like to run the new shot down the tube though. I'm afraid I'll shoot out the barrel since evil lead has been deemed a hazard to the environment.

I had a Stoeger .410 SxS that I sold a couple years back. He's been pissed about that ever since. I think this will let him forget about that.

That's what did it! Once one of those things gets into your head, it stays there forever. smile.gif

I've been thinking about the CZ 20 gauge SxS but there always seems to be a rifle at the head of the line.
