I've been using my open reed Stone Coyote call quite a bit and was concerned that the reed might fail at some point this coming winter. I sent Rudy an e mail and there are reeds on their way, no fuss...no muss. Great guy to deal with and talk to.

Your right Red...Rudy is a great guy. When I purchased this closed double reed he told me just send back at any time for tuning or anything else if it becomes a problem. He lives in Ohio very near my sister in law so I will eventually get to meet up with Rudy.

The new reed material showed up here today. He sent three different thicknesses for me to play around with, along with a spare rubber-band-reed keeper-dealy. After replacing the original reed with a fairly heavy gauge material, I now realize that the old one WAS getting weak. It now sounds great again, is easier to blow, and has better range...like it did when it was new.

I have around 10 of Rudy's calls. You just can't beat them. And Rudy is likewise. Super good guy.
