This is one of two 700 VLS Remington’s I own, but I have found I have little use for it here in my new home in Maine. So she is up for sale.

She was originally made in 1998 and I purchased her from a Gander Mountain in Pontiac MI. I added a muzzle brake, free floated the barrel and converted her from a hinged floor plate to a detachable magazine (comes with 3 mags). She has had 137 rounds down her bore since purchase (yes, I log every shell I fire from this gun, it was intended for comp and long distance shooting), I built 2 identical, never wore out the first and moved to a state where shots are much shorter (This is the barely-used one of the 2, the other has 912 rounds on her). As you can see in the pics, she has almost no wear at all and has been well cared for. She sports a Leupold VX-III 8.5-25 scope w/ a 3” shade and flip up covers. She is 1 in 12 RH twist, her sister responds well to H322 and 168graine Match-King’s, I have also had good luck with BL-C(2) and 165grain Nosler ballistic tip’s. This gun is not really what I would call broken in yet so I have not taken a definitive group size but her sister makes ½” 3 round groups at 100 meters.

If you want more pics or a specific pic just ask.

I’m looking for $1600 for the weapon as shone (or make an offer/trade offer). If you want just the gun and not the optics make me an offer. Please note the buyer is responsible for transport arrangements and costs (as well as being legally able to buy, no refunds if your transfer broker will not give it to your because of your eligibility). I may take trades but I would haft to consider what you have. Locals can buy in person w/ appropriate ID.
