Only a few days until I meet up with four other big-bore airgunners for a wild hog hunt at the Shiloh Ranch in Oklahoma. I can hardly contain myself!

The last time I went to hunt the Shiloh Ranch, I came home without a hog, so it's payback time!! I'll be using my SamYang 909 .454, shooting something around 200-220grains at around 700-750+fps. Looking to put one in a big boar or sow's brain cavity. Hoping for a big sow for the best eatin', but if a big boar comes in instead......

Going out Thursday here in Idaho for boar.Yep Idaho whooda thunk it?We have a ranch here in South central Idaho that brings in pigs and you can make reservations to hunt them 3 mos a year. The rest of the year they run wild.Should be fun,will take the 308 a bi pod and a sharp knife.
