Man what a blast. I just got home from four and a half days of ground squirrel hunting on the Tejon Ranch. As usual this time of year, the furballs were everywhere. The rut is in full swing. The way these guys chase after the girls, sort of reminded me of my high school days. Anyway I used their preoccupation with the task at hand, to waylay the snot out of a small truck load of the suckers. Here's a video of one that was taking a breather from the pursuit of happiness.

Too much fun Cliff! Tejon Ranch rocks for having ground squirrels in the perfect settings to hunt in. Not like the open seemingly barren fields we shoot them in way up North. That place is beautiful and a target rich environment.
