This was a messed up night. I was walking from my Mother and Father inlaws Saturday night. When just before walking into the house I herd this barking call. I told the wife to grab the gun with the light on top and the clip. I went back outside to the back yard. Found a good spot to set up and I just started to lip squek. After about 10 min of that I saw 2 set's of eye's coming in. They were on a rock ledge and in the wood's. Couldn't make it out yet and I tought maybe a coon, because I have alot of them here. That when this male came in at a dead run to me. I tried to stop him but just wouldn't stop, so I barked out him. He stop 30 yard's and the 17 HMR found the spot to shut him down. It was the last night of the season for fox here.
Ok I can't get the pic's to work but I will try to get them here for you to take a look at.. Sorry It is the frist Red Fox that I have ever shot.

How is that light attached to your scope? Hose clamps??
It takes a good woman to fetch your gun for you when you tell her to.

pruson, Glen has a good eye. I didn't want to spend alot of money on the light's that clamp on. I had one and it didn't put the spot beam out. Well I had an extra mag setting in the house. I took a set of ring's turned them in the up position and put a solid base style on it. Here in WV you can't hunt at night unless using red or amber lense's. I couldn't find an amber lense for a mag light, so I bought a yellow-green clip board that you can see through and cut it to fit the light. Then just zip tied it to that. I have a friend that is going to make a set of quick mount's to fit the scope and light.

Rich Thank you The only thing with having that big mag on top, It's just a little heavy. You have to have a good set of shooting stick's.
