Have been out of commission the past 2 weeks with the Flu Bug that is going around. Man is it ever BAD. I dont think that I have ever been so sick for so long.
Finally recovered and made it out yesterday for a couple of hours.
Made my first stand on a dairy farm that I got permission on just before I got sick. Called in a pair but only saw the female when I shot, contd calling and after about 5 minutes I see the big male easing out across an open field about 300 yards out, wind is blowing 20+ mph. Way to far for my 17 Rem in that wind.
Went to another farm, set up next to a brushy creek about 100 yds from the patch of woods that I suspect the coyotes are using. I didnt have the Foxpro and JIB on for more that 2 minutes and here comes a pair charging in, barked at them 3 times before they stop at about 30 yards. Bang,Flop.
Best morning I've had in a while.

Nice Job on the coyotes !

I live in the western part of Ohio but I haven't had time to get out.
The funny thing is I am retired and I still don't have time ........... I think I work harder now than when before I retired.
