I have a 592m and 3 boxes of factory ammo I willing to let go. I bought it from a coworker about six years ago. I have never shot it but it appears to be in good shape. I can send you some picture if you are interested

The line I thought I might have on a 591 and a 592 never materialized, the guy never called.
Probably snooped around onlne before calling me and stuck them back in the safe !

Just check out a gunshow, I always see at least one. I picked one up last week from a guy who had 3 of them.
I would let mine go but its such a nice light hunting gun.
There is a gunsmith on RFC that will buld one off of a H&R rifle with a premium barrel on it. You'd have to buy the reamers for him though, I checked into it last week.
It will cost alot more than an old 591 or a 592 though.

Just when I thought the guy that had the 2 592M's was not going to call me, lo and behold he called.
What he has (according to his description) is a couple of 592's that are in decent shape, maybe some minor surface pitting or rust, not likely collector grade but more like shooters. Metal is described as pretty decent, wood has some scratches from carrying and the like.
If anybody out there is interested, I can act as the go-between and buy them and ship to your choice of FFL, as this guy will sell for cash only. He's wheelchair bound and cannot get to the postoffice.
Keep in mind these are not in my possession, but I may be able to get some pics for anyone interested.
Lastly, one has a leather sling with an old Weaver 3-7 skinny scope. The seller claims it was a special promotion from Remington that included the entire package. I don't recall that deal, but it might be true.
Anyway, he's pretty firm on $350 for either, $650 for the pair and I want nothing out of the deal other than something for packing and the shipping charges.
First dibs go to Glen and Matt (Chewy 1010) since they expressed interest a couple of months ago.
Let me know if interested at skaple@columbus.rr.com.
