Last stand out as Fox season ended today in WNY. Made 3 sets this evening in the bitter cold and breezy conditions, but only seen tracks. It was just nice to get out and hike around. Finished up by sitting in the snow and fireing a few rounds from sticks into a knot on a fence pole at what turned out to be 110 paces away.

Where do you Trout fish there? That big tailwater down there?
We don't have many Greys up here like down there. Here they are like a jewel.
I did better in my limeted outings forgeting about the few Coyote around and moveing back into the Fox areas. Lots of signs, I think numbers are on the rise currently. Started kick'in more out of the edges & hedge rows when Woodchuck hunting again.
Good to see, sure are purdy.........I like em.

Upper Little Missouri river. We caught 30 rainbows. and it rained like hell and it was cold! But loved every minute. No big tail waters Bill just a nice little trout, smallmouth stream. Its nice having all those trout in the freezer. I think the coyotes are killing alot of the grays down here don't see to many.

Bill, I hate to burst your bubble but those don't look like fox tracks to me. They look more like POB tracks.
