My room mate wants to get himself a .223 and I was wondering if anyone out there had something for sale. He doesnt want to spend a whole lot of $ on it. He has been looking at the standard barrel savages and likes them because they have the accutrigger. I am trying to convince him to go with the stevens 200 but he doesnt like the way they look.

Any one interested in selling or have some other suggestions for him?

Savage and stevens as mentioned. Rossi or NEF.
If he want cheap then looks should not be important, functionality and reliability should be foremost. Not gonna get both without having a desperate friend or paying more.

besides, he can always buy a different stock after awhile.
