Yipes! Now that's out there a ways. What bullet were you using? Congrats on the beautiful coyote. It's a dandy.

He would have never even knew you where there, great shooting, that 22-243 is obviously doing the business for you.

Rich,

The 22-243 is scoped with a 6-20X50 Burris Fullfield II.
w00t_Masta
how clear is that scope on full power? I have the fullfield II 4.5-16x40.

w00t,

It's as clear on 20X as it is on 6X.
Chuckbuster
NICE dawgmaster, gotta love the feeling.
MotMan
So did you have to make up for wind or anything at that length? I mean I know you did, but how much? How did you go about doing that? I've been shooting a .22 all my life and I'm ready for a better rifle and I'm interested in long range shooting. I just think it would be cool to see a delay in the bullet.
dawgmaster
Motman,

Didn't allow for wind at all! Held the verticle crosshair dead center of the coyote.

And as for elevation...I have Bal Mil-dot reticle so I held the fourth line down (which is about 550 range) on the body and squeezed!

That's awesome! laugh.gif

If you were to shoot some one, you wouldn't even have to have a different alibi where you where at the time of the death. It just seams like you would have had to make up for some wind? That's amazing.
