If anybody has an extra set, or a used set in good condition that they would like to sell, please let me know. I've been waiting on Burris to send out a shippment for almost two months now dry.gif . They are not coming in stock anywhere, and I'm waiting on them at midway. If anybody has some, please let me know, This was going to be my gun for the coyote contest on this forum, but now that its half over, I need to look at other options (other than the $140.00 Leuopold rings)

Is this for your AR-15 Jerry?

If so, Rock River makes an excellent one piece mount that goes right on the picatinny rail and puts the scope at an optimum height on a regular flat top rifle (not intended for the elevated model) for a relatively low cost. The one I had gotten from them ran about $40 at the time and was quite well made. I liked it a lot.

Yes, its for my AR, I had heard good things about the Burris rings, but it occurs to me that the X-High might be too high for my liking though. I put el-crappo rings/4x scope that came on my Savage WMR (its the same mounting style ring oddly enough?) It is way too low, at a .25" height, but up another .5" seems perfect for my liking. I canceled the order for the X-Highs, and ordered some high rings instead. That Rock River base looks like a pretty strong contender as well, I think I'm going to order it to have in stock for when another upper comes along... biggrin.gif Thanks for the tip Mike, it didnt even occur to me to check the RR catalog for that blink.gif

Good call Glen! I should be using it, but I suffer from the "I baby my stuff WAY too much" syndrome, and I've been just plain to human-like when I have gone out! anim_rofl2.gif I need to learn the ways of the hurt rabbit, and I will try to much more as soon as the UPS guy shows up! wink.gif

Thanks guys,
Jerry
