Got these two last Saturday with my Mini-14. The wind was screaming all weekend. Makes it awefully tough to try and win a calling contest in 40 mph winds!
The yote on the left won the "Big Dog". 31lbs. 9oz.

1 shot at 80 yds.,
and one at 110 yds. He was a tough S.O.B.!

As a matter of fact, #5 had been dead about 30 minutes before the photo. He stunk like he'd been dead a month, and the half-mile drag back to the truck sure didn't help his looks any!
I wonder if he had the mange? I've never shot one with it, so I don't know what exactly to look for.
