I believe that I can provide opprtunities for HFH participants. I have to make some calls and confirm that this is something we can do (I already know its something I want to do).
With approval from other family members I think I can provide very unique hunting experiences for deserving individuals.
What do I have to do ?
Is it required that I involve the participants family, friends, tag alongs and guides? (guides are not allowed on the property)
What arrangements do we need to make for the individual .....accomodations, transportation etc.

Because of our insurance everything has to go through a HFH chapter. I may be able to find a wounded hero near you that would like to go hunting. Are you near an Army or Marine base?

I am on the front range of CO and no doubt there are plenty of deserving persons no far from me. I just don't know how to go about locating one and giving it a shot. We would provide transportation to the "farm", lodging there, rifles, ammo, rests, transportation to shooting areas, food....pretty much the whole deal.

I'm going to Brook Army Medical Center the 24th and 25th of this month. I will see if I can find someone that will be out of the hospital and back in Colorado by next fall. I have a nephew that is an Air Force Captian at NORAD and he may even know of someone at Fort Carson. I think the 1st CAV has a bragade there.
