Im going to school down here for the winter and I live in the Pheonix area and I was wondering if anyone knows any good areas near by? Or I guess anywhere good in the state.

I would look for public land & watch the wind. Then as I ran into other folks I would ask permission on private lands. Good Luck in school!! biggrincamo.gif

Check with the BLM. They should have maps of government owned property where you can hunt; or, contact any rancher who appears to have sheep on their property. Just go up and ask them. The worst that can happen is that they will say "No," but my experience is that they usually will give permission, provided that you indicate that you know what you are doing and don't want to shoot any animals, irrigation pipes, kids, houses, etc.
